HAND MADE SOY WAX CANDLES

Our Pure Samtosha candles are hand poured, hand wicked, and made specifically to order. The candle you receive has been made with love, especially for you.
We want our candles to have a purpose. Therefore we have designed them to help you find your own peace, harmony and contentment.
Our meditation candle is based on the five elements, earth, fire, water, air and space and can be used to help you make a deeper connection with yourself, through meditation.
Our healing candle (especially useful for therapists) is based on three powerful healing symbols, and can be used for you to heal yourself and achieve balance between your mind, body and spirit.
Our Goddess candle is based on the Three Graces, beauty, joy and abundance, and can be used for you to find and celebrate these qualities within yourself and to manifest them in your life.
We work with Pure Soy Wax, and essential oils only. Our candle wick is coated with an all natural wax also. We hand make each and every candle with love and care, to ensure you get the best product possible.
After adding the essential oils at the correct temperature, we carefully hand pour our candles slowly and evenly, to help eliminate that "blooming" effect you can get on the glass containers from machine poured candles. The candles are then left to "cure" for 24 hours before being quality checked and packaged up for fast dispatch to you.
Soy wax is an all natural, healthier alternative to paraffin wax candles. The benefits of using soy wax candles are many:
Burns cleaner - soy wax is non toxic and burns cleaner than paraffin wax, with no petrol-carbon soot which can leave black marks on walls and ceilings
Burns safer - unlike paraffin wax, soy wax does not release toxic carcinogens into the air you breathe
Burns longer - soy wax burns slower and cooler than paraffin wax, creating a longer lasting candle
Burns easier - soy wax is water soluble, and cleans up from surfaces with soap and hot water
Soy wax is made from renewable resources
Soy wax is naturally biodegradable
Soy wax candles are healthier for the environment, and healthier for you.
We package all of our Pure Samtosha candles in re-useable hessian drawstring bags.
CANDLE INFORMATION:
Each candle measures 73mm in diameter and 92mm in height. The hessian bag size is 180mm high, x 100mm wide, x 70mm gusset. Each candle contains 200ml of soy wax and burns for approximately 30 hours. Candle burn times vary depending on external conditions. To avoid discolouration, keep away from direct sunlight.
SAFETY INFORMATION:
Never leave a burning candle unattended. For best results burn for a minimum of 3 hours, but no more than 4, each time. Keep wick trimmed to .5mm. Keep away from drafts to ensure an even burn. Always remove candle from hessian bag when burning. Keep out of reach of children and animals. Caution - the glass container may get hot, always place on a heat resistant surface.

Tea Lights
Our tea lights are made with pure soy wax and wicks coated with natural wax. We add either pure essential oils, or high grade fragrance oil. Two tone tea lights look good, and require two pours of wax, hence the higher price. Tea lights in one colour require less time and effort.
Please note that all tea lights are hand made therefore natural variations of colour will occur. We can make colours lighter or darker as required, if you make a note with your order upon checkout. EG we could do more of a lilac colour instead of dark purple.
Please follow standard candle safety procedures when lighting tea lights. Most of our tea lights will burn for approximately 7 hours (this can fluctuate depending on external conditions).

Melts
Our melts are made with pure soy wax, and either pure essential oils or high grade fragrance oil. You can select either a rose or sunflower design (large melts) or a heart design (smaller size). Please note that as all melts are hand made, natural variations in colour will occur. We can make colours lighter or darker, just make a note on your order at checkout. EG we can do more of a lilac colour rather than dark purple.
Melts are easy to use, simply pop one in the top of your oil burner (do not add water), and then light your tea light underneath. Please be aware that the size of oil burners vary, ensure that your melt is not too big for your oil burner dish, otherwise it may overflow. A simple solution to this is to shave off small sections of your melt to use at any time.
