THE CHAKRAS

The chakras are our bodies main regions where our spiritual energy flows. Chakra comes from the ancient Sanskrit word for wheel.
We have 7 main chakras, also known as spinning wheels or vortices of energy. When these are balanced we are healthy and vibrant, when they become blocked it manifests as dis-ease, illness and a feeling of being out of balance. Each of the main chakras corresponds to the 7 main nerve ganglia that emanate from our spinal column.
Many things are linked with our chakras, such as scents, colours and crystals, physical organs and feelings.
Meditating and yoga postures are great ways of balancing your chakras, use scents, colours and crystals to enhance these feelings of wellbeing!
If you wish to balance your chakras, a simple meditation you can try is to sit quietly, and one by one, imagine each chakra, spinning vibrantly in your being. When you imagine each one, visualise the colour associated with that chakra, and mentally affirm to yourself that each chakra, and your whole being, is perfectly healthy and strong. In fact, if your belief is strong enough, you don't even need to do this to balance your chakras. If you believe it is true for you that you are in perfect balance, then that will be your reality.

As with anything, LISTEN to your inner voice for guidance as to where you need to take your attention and what you need to do. Remember, you are creating your own reality, each and every second
