Years ago I used to always read the daily astrology guide in the paper or magazine. Nowadays I don't have as much of an interest in that, but I think that's because I've realised how important your whole birth chart is in looking at your astrological profile. My sister had an indepth profile done for me as a present a few years back, and it really was incredibly accurate. I love looking through astrological books just out of interest because I do find it fascinating that a seemingly "random" event, such as our birth, is actually so detailed in it's timing, that all the planets and what they were doing in the sky at the moment you appeared on this earth is hugely important. If you are interested in astrology, I would recommend having a detailed profile done, it's very insightful and can certainly help you to understand yourself just that little bit better!

This is a great book to bring out at gatherings. It lists every single day of the year, and gives a summary of the personality traits of someone born on that day. I have to say that in my experience, it is freakishly accurate! It also has information on star signs, cusps, the different elemental traits (earth, fire, air, water) and much much more. A great fun book to share with friends. Would also make a great gift for someone interested in astrology (warning though - it is a really large, heavy book!) Plus what a cool name that second guy has!!

Wow, this book is filled (literally - it's really thick!) with information on astrology. And of course we are talking here of ALL your planet signs - not just your sun sign. It comes with a program on a CD that you can load onto your computer that will give you all your planet information, if you just enter the information on your date, time and place of birth. I have an interest in astrology, but find it hard to get my head around all those nitty gritty phrases like - Mercury square to Neptune or Venus sextile to Jupiter (I mean that just sounds rude!), but luckily, you dont need to understand all those terms to get a great deal out of this book. And for those people who love all those phrases like "pluto trine Midheaven in the third House" (huh?) this book is the one for you! So much information, how old is Lyn? It must have taken her about 60 years to write this thing. Seriously though, whatever your level of interest in Astrology, this book is a great reference. My advice - use the CD and get the program to do all the work for you. You can even input two people's birth details to get information on the relationship between them. Really interesting!
